Twenty-five years of student representation at Bocconi have passed through a few thousand people. Some of them are in these photos. If one of them is you, this network exists to find you again.
The manifesto
Nobody does B.lab for their CV.
You join out of curiosity, usually in first year, often because a friend insists. Then come the assemblies, the candidate lists to close at two in the morning, the study notes to upload before exam season, the info stands in the rain and a Gala in December where everyone looks sharper than they ever will again.
What stays with you after graduation isn't a line on your CV: it's a group of people with whom you learned to manage a budget, to speak in front of a packed lecture hall, to lose a vote and stand again the following year. The Alumni network exists so that this never fades.
It isn't an exclusive club and there are no fees. All it asks is a name, a year and a way to be found — and, if you feel like it, half an hour now and then for the people who are in B.lab today.

Campaigns, lecture halls, balloons
The years when the association became an election and assembly machine: posters on the steps, info stands, lecture halls filled for a presentation. Blue and orange became a uniform you could spot anywhere on campus.
2016

A start-up of student representation. The freest there is. Today we want to keep running, to make the university an open, ambitious and exciting place. That's why we are taking on a tough challenge: bringing good ideas and solutions within reach. Projects we have already delivered at our university that deserve to become national best practice. We don't do it to make a statement, but to win and make a real impact.

A list, a hashtag and a group photo against a hand-painted wall. It's the moment B.lab stopped being just an association and became an identity you wear.
2018
Believe in Yourself
The year of the orange and light-blue T-shirts and the packed lawn. B.lab to the Park had been around for years — the first big edition was in 2015 — but this is when it became the photo everyone remembers: hundreds of people sitting on the grass behind a banner.

Beyond, and the whole of Italy
The T-shirts say BEYOND and a new flag appears under the photo: UNILAB Network, the national network of independent student representation associations. B.lab steps out beyond Via Sarfatti.

The association hasn't stopped.
Two presidents elected every six months, a Board, seven operating areas and more than fourteen hundred students passing through every year. By students, for students: the motto hasn't changed.
